About Executive 360° Coaching
Leadership Development in Austin, Texas
Ah, Barton Springs.
68 degrees, every day of the year. Even the locals take a moment to brace before they jump in.
Executive coaching can be like that.
You might be ready for a change — to shock yourself into a new mindset.
But taking the plunge — into your blind spots, your growth edges, your leadership potential — that takes guts.
And like Barton Springs, it’s both a shock… and a rush.
That’s the work we do.
At Executive 360° Coaching, we offer executive coaching in Austin that’s grounded, personalized, and designed to grow the kind of leaders businesses actually need.
No fluff. No floaties. But, we are right here, coaching you through deep, powerful change.
Serving Austin, Texas and beyond. In-person, onsite services preferred; travel contracts considered.
Professional development…
is personal work.
You can set new goals, read a stack of books, attend hours of workshops
— and still feel stuck professionally.
Why? Because leadership isn’t a toolkit — it’s a practice.
And like all noble practices, it requires reflection, experience, and deliberate action.
It is a ongoing, never ending process of growth.
Leadership development is personal work.

The Story
I didn’t start with coaching.
I started with social work as a therapist — helping people heal and grow, connect and overcome.
Before Executive 360° Coaching, I established a solo therapy practice in 2002. Then, I co-founded a counseling agency in 2012 — one built from the ground up, with an ambitious mission and a team that grew to over 120 clinicians, serving more than 1,000 clients a week across five locations.
I learned a lot through that experience — about founder-ship, partnership, leadership. About growth. About what happens when growth outpaces systems… and systems overtake people. And about how fragile leadership can become under pressure.
In 2022, we sold the agency — and not everything went how I hoped. Change always brings gain and loss. Sometimes it brings grief. And if you’re not grounded in what matters most, you can lose sight of your vision. Some lose their integrity.
I came to believe something simple and true.
Strong businesses don’t just need strong leaders. They need conscious leaders.
Leaders who don’t just direct outcomes — but cultivate the conditions for others to succeed.
Leaders who can empower people, hold vision through change, and grow through challenge.
Leaders with the skill — and the will — to help others accomplish what matters most.
These skills — the so-called “soft skills” — get a lot of press, and a lot of flack. But we all know the truth. You don’t need research to prove what your gut already knows.
Leaders driven by selfish greed…
Leaders fueled by power and control…
Clueless leaders who can't read a room…
They may hold positions of authority — but they don’t create greatness. And they don’t drive visionary results.
Great leadership is the lever.
It clears the path.
It fuels momentum.
It moves people to do the work that matters most.
That’s why I started Executive 360° Coaching.
To help people lead better — not just through strategy and ambition, but through self-awareness, emotional clarity, and the courage to grow with integrity and authenticity.
Because when leaders are willing to do the personal work, the ripple effect is transformational.
Meet Ellen Lindsey
Founder | Executive Coach | Entrepreneur | Champion of Leadership Growth
I was born and raised in Austin — back when Barton Springs felt like a local secret and the skyline wasn’t crowded with cranes.
I’ve spent the last 20 years walking alongside people as they grow — in identity, in capacity, and in courage.
As a licensed clinical social worker, I’ve supported hundreds of individuals through complex change and emotional growth. As an entrepreneur, I’ve built successful organizations from scratch. And as a leadership coach, I now help executives and teams navigate the messy, high-stakes, deeply human challenges of leadership.
I bring a rare combination of warmth and structure to my work. I listen deeply. I notice patterns. I help leaders make new connections — and then build the skills to move forward with clarity and courage.
To me, leadership isn’t just about performance. It’s about presence. It’s about learning to love well — through accountability, compassion, boundaries, and truth-telling.
My approach blends insight and accountability. Psychological depth and business strategy. What’s happening on the surface — and what’s driving it underneath.
At Executive 360° Coaching, I work with people who are ready to lead with clarity, courage, and integrity — not just for performance, but for transformation.

360° Growth:
Change That Ripples Through Your Life
360° growth is more than a method. It’s a mindset. At Executive 360° Coaching, “360” reflects how we approach development:
As whole-person work — not just professional polish
As systemic — what shifts in one leader ripples across the team, the culture, the business
As feedback-driven — grounded in honest, multi-directional insight from the people who know your leadership best
We use industry-leading 360° assessments like the Leadership Circle Profile® and Collective Leadership Assessment® to illuminate patterns, spark insight, and accelerate growth.
But the work doesn’t stop with data. It expands into how you lead, how you relate, and how you live — 360 degrees around you.
When leaders grow with us, they don't just advance their careers. They change the way they lead, live, and connect — inside their companies and beyond.
Transformation through Coaching
Therapy and coaching aren’t the same thing — but both hold the promise of change, transformation and achieving more than before.
Therapy is broad in scope. It often explores the past, examines the present, and seeks healing through insight and integration to prepare for the future. Professional counseling requires formal licensure and allows diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders.
Coaching is different. It’s more narrowly focused on a specific area of development — like life transitions or executive effectiveness — and the goal is clear: forward momentum.
Coaching is about identifying what’s getting in the way of your desired future — and doing something about it.
At Executive 360° Coaching, I don’t offer clinical treatment— I'm not diagnosing or keeping medical records. But I do bring everything I’ve learned in two decades of therapeutic practice — attunement, presence, clarity — to guide personal and professional transformation.
As a licensed clinical social worker and certified executive coach, I operate in the overlap.
Where change gets real. Where insight turns into action. Where leadership grows from the inside out.
Choose your leadership coach wisely.
